Residential Compostables Program
We are excited to announce the Compostables program. At Texas Disposal Systems, we are dedicated to reducing the amount of material that goes into the landfill. You will find detailed descriptions on the cart lid on what can be placed into each cart. Enjoy the three-cart system and please follow the directions to avoid contamination. Together we can keep Texas beautiful.
The following items CAN be composted.
Soiled Paper • Soiled Paper Cups • Soiled Paper Plates • Napkins • Empty Pizza Boxes • Empty Paper Food Containers • Empty Paper Milk Cartons • Leaves • Grass Clippings • Small Tree Branches • Shrub/Bush Trimmings
These items CANNOT be composted.
Food • Plastics • Sod or Dirt • Pet Waste • Construction Debris • Treated Wood • Painted Wood • Ceramic • Metal • Styrofoam • Putrescibles
